Minnesota Honor Society Induction

On Monday, November 14, 17 students were inducted into the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Minnesota Honor Society.  Congratulations to these well deserving students.

2016 ExCEL - Tristen Marcyes
LPGE Nominates Student for ExCEL Award

Long Prairie–Grey Eagle High School has nominated Tristen Marcyes for the ExCEL {Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership Award.}
Sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. 
Tristen has been involved in volleyball, gymnastics and softball since 9th grade, lettering twice in gymnastics and twice in softball and once in volleyball. Tristen was selected all conference for softball and gymnastics as a sophomore. She has been on the A honor roll, class officer for the past 2 years, student council, and homecoming committee, and works with the youth at her church. Pete Phillips, LPGE High School teacher writes of Tristen: “Her undying spirit is infectious with her peers, and is positive all the time. Her leadership stems from her character and integrity.”
